The NEW Ranger Kids curriculum and supplies are now available for kindergarten, first, and second grade boys. It consists of boy’s handbooks and workbooks, leader’s weekly planning guides, posters, advancement charts, and many other materials.
Many outposts started this exciting and dynamic program in September. What is Ranger Kids? Ranger Kids—the trail to fun and adventure—is an exciting program for boys in kindergarten, first and second grades. Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement through a challenging and fun advancement system. This will allow boys to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character. Weekly experiences and activities are enhanced through a specific advancement system which is designed to give the boys a sense of achievement and purpose. Through interactive learning and fun activities, Ranger Kids will grow physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.

A Royal Ranger is: ALERT: Mentally, physically, and spiritually alert. CLEAN: Clean in mind, body, and speech. HONEST: Does not lie, cheat, or steal. COURAGEOUS: Brave in spite of danger, criticism, or threats. LOYAL: Faithful to his church, family, outpost, and friends. COURTEOUS: Polite, kind, and thoughtful. OBEDIENT: Obeys his parents, leaders, and those in authority. SPIRITUAL: Prays, reads the Bible, and witnesses. |

Ranger Kids Uniform: It is to identify a boy as a Ranger Kid and to give him a place to proudly wear the advancement awards he has earned. The official Class B uniform is a Ranger Kids long-sleeved, red shirt with a Royal Rangers Emblem and US Flag worn on the left sleeve near the shoulder. The District Strip and Outpost Numerals are worn on the right sleeve near the shoulder. Accompanying the shirt is a Ranger Kids bolo tie and blue jeans. The Class C uniform is comprised of a denim vest which should be worn over a Royal Rangers T-shirt, and either blue jeans or shorts.

“Ranger Kids” Is the introductory program? Curriculum is designed to help the boys grow Socially, physically, mentally, and spiritually through age-appropriate games, crafts, and Bible studies. Meeting plans are included for twelve Weeks. The first quarter focuses on the community and church ; The second quarter, important character traits; the third quarter, Importance of family; and the last quarter God’s creation. If enough commanders are available, Kindergartners should be separated From boys in first and second grades, so those who cannot read are in a Separate group. For churches with adequate commanders available for Ranger Kids, a commander and lieutenant commander for each grade level Are recommended. However, any church small or large can run an effective Royal Ranger outpost. |
