The Gold Medal of Achievement is the highest award that a Royal Ranger can earn. It is the culmination of years of study and work. In order to earn the Gold Medal, a ranger must master camping skills of may kinds, become familiar with Bible teachings, and read much of the Bible. He must earn awards covering Christian Service, Citizenship, First Aid and CPR, Physical Fitness, Missions, and many other areas.
